The Artwork
James Marsh opened up his studio and his archive for Spirit of Talk Talk, and he has remastered and retouched his original artworks for our exclusive use. In many instances the revitalised images are displayed at very much larger sizes than on the original record covers.
James has also supplied sketches that detail how the artwork concepts developed, and they are displayed alongside alternative and previously unseen cover designs and examples of his work. There is an accompanying commentary outlining his creative process and working relationship with the band.
The book also contains comments on James’ art from fellow artists, designers, musicians and fans of his work with and for Talk Talk.
